Iona

South of Fort Myers, between the Caloosahatchee River and 41, right before heading over to Sanibel and Fort Myers Beach, is Iona. This area offers many waterfront living communities such as Shell Point, Gulf Harbour, and The Landings, as well as quick access to the islands. Many gated golf neighborhoods and condominium communities are also in the area. This area has also experienced damage due to Hurricane Ian, though not to the extent of Fort Myers Beach.
